Understand product coverage, installation support and the steps for requesting assistance from our local team.

Material Warranty

Product protection backed by clear terms.

Eligible Rioturf products may include a limited manufacturer warranty. The exact coverage period and conditions depend on the turf model, invoice, technical sheet and warranty certificate provided with the purchase.

What may be covered

  • Premature degradation of turf fibers.
  • Excessive fading beyond accepted manufacturer limits.
  • Abnormal separation or deterioration of the backing.
  • Confirmed manufacturing defects.
  • Premature loss of fiber strength under normal use.

Keep these records

  • Original invoice or proof of purchase.
  • Product name, model and lot number when available.
  • Manufacturer warranty certificate.
  • Photographs of the completed installation.
  • Maintenance and project documentation.
What is not covered?
Improper installation, inadequate drainage, cuts, punctures, burns, concentrated heat, chemicals, vehicles, machinery, animal damage, natural disasters, normal wear, lack of maintenance, minor lot variations, unauthorized modifications and uses outside the product's intended application are not covered unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
What solutions may be available?
An approved claim may result in repair of the affected area, replacement of eligible defective material, a partial or prorated credit, or another remedy authorized by the manufacturer. Labor, removal, reinstallation, transportation and preparation costs are included only when expressly confirmed in writing.
Who makes the final coverage decision?
Some products are backed directly by their manufacturer. Rioturf Valley can assist with documents and inspection information, but final approval may remain subject to the manufacturer's written warranty terms and determination.

Installation Warranty

Workmanship support for eligible Rioturf installations.

Installation coverage applies only to projects completed and invoiced directly by Rioturf Valley or by a crew expressly authorized in writing. The applicable coverage period is the period shown on the customer's invoice, proposal or installation agreement.

Local installation support, subject to the written project terms.

May be covered

  • Seams separating because of improper workmanship.
  • Edges lifting because of deficient fastening.
  • Movement caused by a confirmed installation error.
  • Defective cuts or adjustments completed by our team.
  • Work that does not match the approved written scope.

Coverage conditions

  • The installation was completed and invoiced by Rioturf Valley.
  • The project has been paid in full.
  • Usage and maintenance recommendations were followed.
  • No outside party altered or repaired the installation.
Do not remove, cut, glue or modify the affected turf before Rioturf Valley completes its review. Outside repairs may prevent an accurate inspection or void coverage on the altered area.
What is not covered?
Third-party damage, later construction or landscaping work, natural ground movement, leaks, erosion, concealed utilities, drainage work outside the original scope, storms, floods, animal damage, vehicles, burns, chemicals, odors caused by insufficient cleaning, normal wear, customer-supplied materials and unauthorized modifications are not covered.
What about hidden site conditions?
Roots, unstable soil, underground concrete, pipes, irrigation, wiring, leaks and other concealed conditions may require additional work. Those corrections are not warranty work unless they were expressly included in the original written scope.

Claims Process

A straightforward way to request assistance.

Submitting a claim does not automatically confirm coverage. Each request requires documentation and review.

01

Gather information

Prepare the invoice, product name, project address, installation date, clear photographs, videos and a detailed description.

02

Submit the claim

Email Office@rioturfvalley.com with the subject “Warranty Claim – Customer Name – Invoice Number.”

03

Inspection and review

Rioturf Valley may request more photos, inspect the project, consult the manufacturer or request a material sample.

04

Determination

The customer will be informed whether the claim is approved, needs more information, goes to the manufacturer or is not covered.
